Peats Ridge Festival was a three-day sustainable music and arts festival with more than 200 music acts, over 30 performance and visual arts, and more than 30,000 partygoers. Cardinal Spin managed all announcements, artist interviews, sponsorship liaison, media accreditation and event media management for the 2011/12 Festival.

Campaign Highlights

* Cardinal Spin’s first year working on the Festival in 2011 saw a 50 per cent increase in total coverage for the event, with more than 600 news items being generated over the course of the campaign. That year, 30,000 punters purchased tickets to the Festival - representing a marked growth on previous years (in a declining music festival market).

* The result saw Cardinal Spin secure and on-going contract with the Festival, as well as a recommendation which led the agency to secure the communications account for the 2012 Surry Hills Festival.
